Sweet!

Not long ago, I was giving Nate a bath.
I asked my daughter Hannah if she would get his pj's out for me.
She left the bathroom and went into Nate's room. I expected her to return to the bathroom with them, but she didn't.
A little annoyed, I carried a be'toweled Nate into his room to find this;
A few weeks later, I got into my car to go to work, and this is what I found;
And then more recently, on our way home from skiing in Michigan over the Christmas break, Hannah and I drove together. When we stopped for a bathroom break, Hannah went inside the gas station and returned with this...which doesn't look like a big deal but she used her own Christmas money to buy this snack. She remembered my favorite kind of goodies, down to the salt and vinegar chips which I haven't bought in a very long time.
She's even willing to swap her favorite candy of all time with her baby brother.
Now that is sweet!

  1. Now that is one sweet girl, you are a blessed Mommy...but I am pretty sure it it probably a reflection of the examples that have been set for her, so you should give yourself a pat on the back :-)
