Blizzard Warning...

last night the school district called and left a message that school would be cancelled for today. i heard andrew whooping all the way upstairs....snow day!!

this morning he was groaning because his snow day vaca turned into a snow day work day! If you saw the national weather forecast and noticed a large winter storm in the midwest....uhhh....that was here, people. we got 18 inches of snow last night-there is more snow coming tonight, and the wind chill tonight will dip to -15 below zero.

ok, funny story. tuesday night i was outside hanging my wreath on the door in my jammy pants and t-shirt. we had not received any snow yet and in fact had just this past weekend finished up our fall yard cleanup. ha!

the first snow fall of the season is a blizzard-seriously! here in green bay we are still under a blizzard warning until midnight tonight! basically, we're buried in snow, and it's not like we don't know snow. we are green bay-home of the frozen tundra.

andrew and james are clearing out the driveway and chatting with our neighbor (in the snow suit!) looks like a good night for cookies, snowmen and hot cocoa.

  3. Wow! that's a lot of snow!! We've only had a dusting so far this season. I hear there's another big storm blowing through over Christmas. Are you going to get dumped on again? By the way, we're having a girl!

  4. I wondered....saw your forecast and thought of you! At the time, I was curious if this normal or not -- I guess not (this soon)!
