SPiO!

...that is, "Stabilizing Pressure Input Orthosis" makes my kid look like a rockstar!

Not only that, it has made a huge impact on his mobility! Two days ago we had him fitted with his SPiO one-piece that our PT ordered for him. Although he has been crawling and pushing himself up on his knees, she thought he would really benefit from wearing it.

Was she ever right.

He gets around a thousand times better (and faster) and talks a mile a minute...even more than before! Best of all, he will crawl, then stop (without falling on his belly) then push himself to his seat without any effort at all. He will crawl to the coffee table, place his hands on top and pull himself to his knees, all with ease. Before he was wearing the SPiO, it would take lots of time and effort to do these same things, although he could still do them.
